Maria embarked on her legal career as an outdoor clerk over 43 years ago, and qualified in 1997. She began by practising matrimonial, litigation and criminal law. Whist working, she furthered her studies by achieving a Certificate then Diploma in Criminology from Kings College, University of London. She then went on and studied for her Degree in Law from the University of Westminster. Maria also speaks Greek, and is happy to assist clients in this second language.

With over 20 years of experience advising private clients in residential property matters including sales, purchases, re-mortgages, and Transfers of Equity, she is a specialist in acting for buyers of new build property and development work, and has a wealth of experience and contacts in dealing with developers/house builders. She thoroughly enjoys being in practice as it is highly rewarding working to achieve successful outcomes for her clients.

Elsewhere, she is happiest singing in her church choir, listening to classical music performances, and attending the ballet.
