With over 40 years of experience in a vast spread of residential and commercial property transactions, John deals with: commercial leases for landlords and tenants; commercial investment transactions; purchases for end users; property development work; and the full range of residential property transactions.  He was also involved in the management of a solicitors practice for many years.

John has always enjoyed undertaking an enormous range of property transactions, which he believes is one of the benefits of working in a smaller practice. Managing a law firm was fulfilling for its experience of building a team and seeing them working well together. Having particularly enjoyed carrying out a mix of residential and commercial work and dealing with different types of client, John finds his reward in completing a transaction and seeing the satisfaction of the client.

Outside the office, he enjoys gardening, playing tennis, cooking and travelling – all of which he finds to be relaxing ways to unwind from the sometimes inevitable pressures of work.
