Kiya Komorowska

Completion of a Law with Media degree at the University of Sussex was followed by the combined Legal Practice Course and Master’s degree at the University of Law.

Prior to joining Barretts as a Trainee Solicitor, Kiya gained experience working at both a high-street and a city firm, as well as an in-house Legal department. This has given her a well-rounded perspective on legal practice. Extensive experience supporting Partners and Solicitors in a Property Litigation department, also developed her skills by assisting in class action, corporate restructuring and insolvency cases.

A self-confessed passion for problem-solving and working collaboratively helps Kiya achieve the best outcome. Supporting colleagues and advising clients has been rewarding for her, especially when navigating challenges, identifying practical solutions and effectively helping to move matters forward. An understanding of how complex and stressful legal process can be for clients, gives Kiya her focus on guiding you through each step with confidence and clarity.

In her own time, Kiya enjoys reading, especially suspense novels. Staying active by attending gym classes, hiking and exploring new places, Kiya also participates in a social bowling league.
